My 26th week of pregnancy was a little scary as you will read below but we made it through ok and are just two weeks away from the third trimester!
So I am not sure why I resisted pregnancy clothes for so long because I finally gave in and ordered a few pairs of pants and they are WAY more comfortable than wearing a suffocating belly band over tight pants every day! Last week we ordered furniture and this week we are starting to talk about how we want to set his room up. I am so eager for us to decorate!
Here is what was going on in week 26:
Symptoms: Had to say a temporary toodle-oo to my engagement ring this week. It is starting to get a bit snug and I would rather take it off voluntarily now than get it cut off a few weeks from now. We had a little scare this week when I had painful cramping on my right side but I called the doctor and they said to pop some tylenol, drink plenty of water and put my feet up and it went away pretty quickly.
Weight Gain: Up a total of 12 pounds. Knowing that the baby only weighs about 2 is a little scary but I am still in range of healthy weight gain so I am OK with it.
Cravings: Not really a craving but I am really missing sushi. I went out with coworkers and it took everything in my power not to order a philly roll.
Monday is our next doctor’s appointment and I will be taking my glucose test. Fingers crossed all goes well. I would love it if we could get a quick peek of our guy on an ultrasound but I think we may need to wait until the end of the month. Have a great week everyone!
